Tradition and preservation in furniture
making form the basis of my work. Salvaged
barn woods, hardware and architectural materials
are hand-crafted with antique time pieces. Natural
wood grains and traditional painting techniques
provide the color, texture and finish for each
unique piece reminiscent of 18th century Early
American and Shaker furniture.
These clocks function both as a historical record
of the craftsmanship and materials used in the
building of this region and as a subtle reminder
time is passing and to renew our lives every day.
